The Queen has a stunning array of jewellery, including many glittering tiaras, that she wears and lends to other members of the royal family.
Kate Middleton has been spotted wearing a number of the royal tiaras since her wedding to Prince William in 2011, but it seems she’s picked one particular piece more often than any others, the Express recently noted.
According to the newspaper, Kate has been spotted wearing the Lover’s Knot Tiara in public no fewer than six times in recent years, which given that she’s only been snapped in tiaras around nine times since her wedding indicates that this is a favoured headpiece.
Interestingly, this piece of jewellery was also a favourite of Princess Diana. The Lover’s Knot Tiara features delicate pearls as well as diamonds and is a very elegant piece.
Even though Kate hasn’t publicly stated which tiara is her favourite, you’ve got to wonder if she chooses this one more than any others.
Of course, most of us don’t have a royal budget for our tiaras when we’re getting married or attending a formal occasion, but you don’t need one if you want a stylish floral tiara that’s right on trend.
Tiaras are a great opportunity to add a pop of colour to your wedding outfit, with our floral headpieces available in a host of colours from blues and reds through to golds.
Vogue recently described headbands as “the new veil” noting that they’re a great way to allow brides to make a statement.
